Synopsis
Fantasy that allows to escape. Imagination that consents to break free. A society at the pinnacle of its evolution still so archaically linked to stereotypes. A society that condemns lacks of originality, but triggers inquisitions against any bastion of peculiarities. Fear of the incomprehensible, which generates reaction. Fear, conformism's daughter, selfishness' mother.
Those who feel free to be, too often pay a higher price than those who wear a safe pre-made role.
When certain mechanisms are activated, inside of them breeding grounds of all kinds lurk, as in Pandora's box. And when we are willing to forgive even the worst .. we realise that reason's inhumanity has no limits. The loss of innocence in the clash between a white insanity and a black reason disguised as cure.
The poetic rhyme of a free being, which become his latest prose and testament. We are afraid of our being ... human. We strive to reflect our "normality" in mirrors.
But if we don't get a reflection consistent with the expectation, then we lock up those mirrors in dark places, where they can be forgotten or maybe "adjusted", "restored".
It is often too late when we realise that those mirrors were other beings like us.
